What we do

Wills

It takes an afternoon. It saves your family a year they will not want to spend.

Why it matters

  • Without a will, the intestacy rules decide who inherits. They do not know your family.
  • Unmarried partners inherit nothing under those rules, however long you have been together.
  • Guardians for children under 18 are named in a will. Nowhere else.
  • A poorly written will causes more arguments than no will at all.

How we do it

  • An hour talking through your family, your property and what you actually want.
  • A draft in plain English, so you can tell whether it says what you meant.
  • Signing and witnessing done properly, because most homemade wills fail here.
  • Safe storage, and a reminder when something changes that should change your will.

Wills and estate planning are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
